NEWS BRIEFS: DIRECTV Joins NASDAQ 100
DIRECTV will become a component of the NASDAQ 100 Index and the NASDAQ-100 Equal Weighted Index prior to the market opening on Wednesday, April 30. The company will replace BEA Systems.
INTERNATIONAL - Khrunichev Space Center and partner International Launch Services on Thursday unveiled a broad-based quality initiative for the two entities and subcontractors. Khrunichev and ILS called the effort a broad-based initiative and not just focused on specific issues related to the Proton Breeze M anomaly in March that failed to place the AMC-14 satellite into its proper orbit.
