NEWS BRIEFS: DISH Adds Beaumont HD Locals
DISH Network added high-def locals for customers in the Beaumont/Port Arthur, Texas, market. With the addition, DISH Network now offers local channels in 66 markets, reaching more than 69 percent of U.S. TV households.
On July 26 XM will launch "No Shoes Radio," featuring music from Kenny Chesney's audio catalog, including never-before-heard recordings and an uncut exclusive concert broadcast from the singer's 2008 Poets and Pirates Tour.
