Regulations: All 9 of Colorado’s Congressfolk sent a bipartisan letter on the 2nd to the FCC asking it to “make every effort to utilize unused, available spectrum for commercial broadband services.”  Details here from Denver Business Journal on the lobbying for DISH.

People: No kidding?  Keith Olbermann told David Letterman last night that he “didn’t think the whole thing through.” --- Yahoo’s Scott Thompson fired 2K folks saying, “The time has come to move Yahoo forward with increased focus and accountability.” --- Surprise!  Another former Cablevision exec, Jonathon Hargis, has landed at Charter as CMO.

Kudos: NCTA released its list of Vanguard Award winners led by Distinguished Leadership top dogs Jerry Kent of Suddenlink and NBCU's Bridget Baker.  Others are Cox's Jill Campbell (cable ops); FX's John Landgraf (programming); ESPN's Chuck Lagano (science & tech); TWC's Gail McKinnon (gov & community relations); AMC's Linda Schupack (marketing); Motorola Mobility's (Google's?)
